What to expect
A private chef evening, with a whole bistro around it
With the open kitchen and the scale of the room, a private event at Monet feels closer to a private chef dinner than a standard group booking — and stays more approachable than many larger private dining rooms in Berlin.

The whole bistro exclusively for your group, set up for your evening.
- Food
A French menu from our seasonal kitchen, planned with you. Vegetarian and vegan alternatives are no problem.
- Drinks
Apéritif and cocktails, wines from our cellar of small, mostly French growers, alcohol-free options.
- Chef & team
Our chef cooks just for your group, and our English- and German-speaking team looks after you from the first glass to the last espresso.
- Pricing
There is no room hire fee. We agree a minimum spend based on the date and the size of your group — and all of it goes on food and drinks.
- Timing
Evenings Tuesday to Saturday — lunch or other times outside our regular hours on request.
- Location
Grünberger Straße 40, Friedrichshain — 7 minutes from Warschauer Straße, 10 from Ostkreuz. Easy for everyone to reach.

Good to know
How many guests can we bring?
Up to 20 guests. The room is small, which is exactly what makes a private evening here feel personal.
Will other guests be there?
No. With a private event the whole bistro is reserved for your group.
Which days and times are possible?
Evenings from Tuesday to Saturday. Lunch or other times outside our regular opening hours can be arranged on request.
Can you cater for dietary needs?
Yes. We plan the menu with you; vegetarian and vegan alternatives are part of every menu rotation. Please mention allergies in your inquiry.
What does it cost? Is there a room hire fee?
There is no room hire fee. We agree a minimum spend based on the date and the size of your group — and all of it goes on food and drinks. Tell us your budget per person and we'll send an individual proposal.
How early should we book a Christmas party?
As early as possible — December Fridays and Saturdays are usually the first dates to be taken.
We're a smaller group — do we need the whole bistro?
Not necessarily. For a regular table, reserve on OpenTable; for a larger table without exclusive hire, email reservations@monet-bistro.de.
